After the shows, wonder through 12 hands-on activity stations that include learning how to milk a cow, finding out what it's like to operate a farm, a soil testing station where YOU get to be the scientist, learning how to grind wheat the old-fashioned way or even get a personal print-out of your own food pyramid!

Kids in the Kitchen
Junior League's Kids in the Kitchen program exists to teach and distribute materials regarding easy exercises for kids, tips on nutrition, and recipes for healthy meals and snacks that can be prepared at home. Summer Sessions are scheduled for every Monday starting June 6th - August 1 at the Owensboro Area Museum of Science and History. We will have hands on food
demonstrations creating healthy and exciting snacks, fun exercises that kids can take part in, and other activities related to overall good health. Presented by the Junior League, and BB&T.
