Special guest Patricia Knoechel of Quilt in a Day will be giving several presentations and demonstrations during the two day event. Over 300 never before displayed quilts will be featured in several areas, a variety of vendors will be selling wares and demonstrations will include a modern 12-foot quilting machine and a working treadle sewing machine.

CALLING ALL KIDS!!! Join OMHS Healthpark Instructor Jen Thompson for a spectacular KIDS ZUMBA workout and then help yourself to a free lunch through our Summer Feeding Program from students 18yrs and younger!!! Junior League of Owensboro will be offering their special KIDS IN THE KITCHEN programming as well! Spiders! Making your own nut-butter will be fun! Spread on whole grain bread, add some pretzel stick legs, raisin eyes, and pretty soon, we'll be eating spiders! Samples of almond butter will be used, with peanut butter available upon request. The lesson's focus is on the importance of protein and building strong muscles.
